Missions

Independent Baptist Church supports missions around the world in prayer, service, and finances. We support a smaller number of missionaries with larger monthly offerings, and sponsor special projects for a number of others.

Monthly we support the work of:

• Institute of Ministry at Camp Ironwood, California
• Berea Baptist Church, Ohio

Mission trips provide excellent opportunities to serve around the world, as well as expose participants to the needs of people everywhere.

IBC sent out a missions team to California in March 2005 to help construct a new building for Ironwood Institute of Ministry.

Pastor Shoaf visited several churches in Jordan and Lebanon in November of 2005.

Another group went to Ghana in January 2006. This group conducted tent meetings and children's ministries for Solid Rock Baptist Church, pastored by George Dapaah. We were able to take boxes of books for their Bible College and a 7 ft. by 10 ft. portable screen for use in outdoor evangelistic meetings.
